Swimming is popular sports especially for kids.
My friends Betty, Ethan as well as Chloe, their favorite sport is swimming because it is good for our health not just physically but also mentally.
We can enjoy swimming while learning English. I will never forget the best line of my coach Bo. Every day he always says, “kickkick, bubbles five times, and ten lapse more”. Every time I heard these words makes me reminisce my experience in CILC-CELC.
My coach taught us the four basic stroke of swimming which is freestyle, breaststroke, butterfly and backstroke. I am good at freestyle and breaststroke. Breaststroke and freestyle is popular for recreational swimmer because it is the basic stroke and easy to perform and learn.
In addition of physical benefits, swimming is an effective away of relaxing. If my friends was tired, they usually do the front float. Spending time floating on my back listening to the water lap my feet is so soothing and relaxing that it makes me wish I didn’t ever have to step out of the water.
Furthermore, swimming is an enjoyable recreational activity not only for individuals but also for family.
